Just last fall, Joanne gave me a most-wonderful gift. Out of the blue, she emailed me. Although, phone conversations were exhausting for her, we talked and laughed about old times, new times and the love and joy she felt for and from Colin and Kara and their families. Joanne reconnected Kara with me, her long-lost Godmother, and I was given the privilege of making photos of Kara, Uri, Sierra and Adelaide for Gigi. I am most grateful that I was able to gather together some photos that I hoped would bring back fond memories for Joanne, as they have for me, of the times we shared and to thank her for her kindness, friendship, and wisdom. I write this with sadness for Joanne's passing and with joy for having known her. Beverley Bailey
